TJ Oshie has returned to the Anaheim Ducks for another 3 years following the signing of a new contract.  The deal gives TJ a slight raise and will keep him on the top line with Mats Zuccarello and Anze Kopitar for the coming year.

His first season in Orange County didn’t go as planned as the Ducks missed the playoffs for the second straight year.  He did manage to score 28 goals, but his 24 assists and 52 points were disappointing after coming off a 69 point year in Montreal the season before.  However with an 80 SC rating for this coming season and playing with Zuccarello (84 PA) and Kopitar (91 PA), the 4 time 30+ goal scorer has a strong chance to hit 40 goals for the first time in his CDNHL career.

The new contract retains the sniper and they are hoping a bounce back year from not only Oshie, but the entire franchise can set them up for another trip to the postseason.
