Anaheim had a very successful UFA period signing 9 players to add to a depleted system including bring in 3 players who previously played with the team.

TJ Oshie – Re-signed for 3 years, Oshie headlines the crop.  An 80 SC rating and a top line RW, he should flirt with 40 goals this coming season.

Radko Gudas – A rugged, hard to play against 99 IT and 73 DF rating, he will play big minutes in the top 4.

Kyle Palmieri – Had a down year, but re-signed to a great team friendly $1.55 million per season for 3 years, he will strengthen the bottom 6.

Tanner Pearson –  Also had a down year, but brings much needed depth and talent to the bottom 6.

Nate Schmidt – Another player who had a down year, but bought low and still decent ratings in SC and DF – should bounce back to a top 4 role.

Nick Jensen – Made a deal to sign him cheap – brings intangibles for a suitable bottom pairing or depth defender.

Sami Vatanen – Adequate defensive defender signed for more depth on the backend.

Derek Stepan – Played a big role in the CDNHL Ducks trip to the Western Final in 2019, now a decent depth piece.

Arttu Ruotsalainen – 24 year old scored 5 goals in 17 games in his NHL debut last year – could be a breakout candidate.
