This year, funds have been allocated for the winner of the CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET ($50) and the CONSOLATION BRACKET ($25).

The CDNHL Fall Classic is a bracket-style tournament featuring best-of-three series’ with all 31 CDNHL teams. The presidents trophy winner gets a bye to the championship bracket. the remaining 30 teams will be seeded based on last season’s standings with the highest seed facing the lowest seed, then the next highest seed facing the second lowest seed, and so on (2 vs 31, 3 vs 30, 4 vs 29, etc.). Since this is Seattle’s first season they will be seeded 31st.

The 15 winners from the preliminary round remain in the Championship Bracket (along with the presidents trophy winner), the 15 losers are relegated to the Consolation Bracket (top seed in that Bracket getting a bye in round 1).

From there, the winners keep playing (this year we will be reseeding each round) until a champion in each bracket emerges.

Prizes are as follows (CDNHL cash, not real cash till finals):
Preliminary round win = $250K
Round 1 win = $250K (consolation) & $500K (championship)
Round 2 win = $375K (consolation) & $750K (championship)
Round 3 win = $500K (consolation) & $1m (championship)
Finals win = $25 (consolation) & $50 (championship)
