Don’t let Anaheim’s perfect 6-0 regular season record against the Arizona Coyotes fool you, this series won’t be a cake walk for the Ducks.  Anaheim and Arizona were talking trade at the deadline, but Anaheim ran out of cap space and a deal never got completed.  Since then, the Coyotes went on a roll and made the playoffs with a 7-3 record in their past 10 games.  The Ducks finished the year 8-2 in their past 10 games including winning 5 straight to end the season.

This series will come down to goaltending as both teams have very highly rated men between the pipes.  Connor Hellebuyck broke multiple Roberto Luongo club records this past season including Wins (43), GAA (2.26), and Shutouts (7).  Marc-Andre Fleury had a 2.30 GAA in the regular season and led the Coyotes to the post season.

Up front, the Ducks top line of Zucker-Staal-Bailey led the way for the team, with incredible scoring depth of the Sedin’s on their final playoff run.  Artemi Panarin, Paul Statsny, and youngster Matt Barzal were the stars for the ‘Yotes.

Anaheim won game 1 in a double OT thriller which saw Daniel Sedin complete his hat trick for the game winner.  Game 2 goes tonight to see if the Ducks can keep their streak against the Coyotes rolling.
